Graece Μυροφόροι, i. e. Unguentorum latrices, dictae sunt tres mulieres, quae ad Dominicum sepulchrum, unguenta ferentes adveniebant, ut Servatoris corpus inungerent. Ab his Graeci Dominicam tertiam post Pascha, Dominicam Sanctarum Μυροφόρων appellaut. Sic enim in Typico S. Sabae legitur. Macer in Hierolexico.
